Collectivly has been developed to help solve the growing challenge of what to watch, what to listen to and what to read. Netflix has nearly 200 million global subscribers and Spotify has over 140 million premium subscribers and uploads in excess of 60,000 new tracks to the platform every day. When these platforms are analysing increasing volumes of BIG Data it’s no surprise that their algorithms are struggling to deliver relevant recommendations.
At Collectivly we believe in the wisdom of crowds and the power of personal peer to peer recommendations. We wanted to create a fun to use platform where you can rate Movies, TV Shows, Albums and Books and receive instant recommendations based on the taste of our Collectiv of users. Our users are also paying it forward by contributing to the Collectiv Brain so everyone can benefit from sharing their ratings.
We have also developed unique GROUPS functionality to help resolve those arguments on the sofa over what to watch as a couple or family on a Saturday night ! GROUPS can also help with recommendations if you are in a Book Club or on a long car journey with family or friends and can’t agree on what music to listen to. Once you have rated content and signed up, you can create a Group in seconds and invite your partner, family, friends or members of your Book or Movie Club to join your Collectivly Group and create their profiles. We analyse all of your individual tastes and then deliver Group recommendations based on similarities from our people-powered algorithm.
